Two-day workshop for women entrepreneurs begins

Kochi, Jan. 10: A two-day workshop organized by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) that commenced here today offered a platform for aspiring and existing women entrepreneurs to share their experiences and interact with industry leaders ahead of the National Startup Day.  

Organized in association with Startup India at the Integrated Startup Complex, Kalamassery, the workshop featured industry leaders and top startup personalities,  facilitating women entrepreneurs from the ecosystem to familiarize themselves with the business world. The National Startup Day falls on January 16.

Startup India Head Ms Aastha Grover, Investment Specialist Ms Khushbu Verma, Social Entrepreneur Ms Lakshmi Menon, Team One Advertising Company Head Ms Vinodini Sukumar, Prohub Process Management CEO Ms Sreedevi K, GreenPepper CEO Mr Krishna Kumar and investor Mr Seshadrinathan Krishnan are the key speakers.

The proceedings on the opening day covered topics like the activities of KSUM, projects of Startup India, market entry, product value, brand creation, pitching and investment strategies. Pitching of startup ideas and ventures and interaction with business leaders have been planned as part of the event.

KSUM is the nodal agency of the Kerala Government for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the state.
