CSSR meditation centre inauguration on Sunday

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 30: Come New Year, the Sree Bala Vighneswara Maha Ganapathy Temple at Vattiyoorkavu will get a meditation centre functioning along the principles of scientific spirituality.
Noted scientist Prof Chandrabhas Narayana, who is Director of Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, will inaugurate the Centre for Scientific and Spiritual Radiance at the temple located at Mithranagar on Sunday (January 1).
Corporation Councillor Adv. V.G. Girikumar and Swamy Manikanda will attend the 12 noon function, formally dedicating the centre to the devotees.
Prof Narayana will also deliver a lecture on ‘Blending Science and Spirituality for a Meaningful Life’. Playback singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi will present a devotional musical programme at 6.30 pm.
The meditation centre aims to propagate science-based spirituality among people.
