Entry free for public to Arogya Expo opening from Dec 8 to 11

Panaji, Dec.7: Entry will be free for the public to the Arogya Expo opening at the sprawling Campal Grounds here on Thursday (December 8) as part of the four-day 9th World Ayurveda Congress.

The expo will showcase a wide range of products and services from leading Ayurveda healthcare providers. People can visit the expo on all four days from December 8 to 11.

A major highlight of the Arogya Expo is Ayush OPD Clinics. Several top Ayurveda healthcare providers will be offering free consultation services at their respective stalls. Visitors to the expo can avail of their free services from December 8 to 11.

The conclave will bring together leading practitioners and a whole spectrum of stakeholders in Ayurveda. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will address the valedictory of the meet on December 11.

The meet is organised by World Ayurveda Foundation, an initiative of VijnanaBharati, with the support of the Ministry of Ayush and Government of Goa.

“This is the largest Ayurveda expo ever organised in which more than 215 leading healthcare providers are having stalls and information kiosks. There will be enclosures of other indigenous systems of medicine as well. Going by its magnitude, this is a rare opportunity to people to have a fair idea of India’s time-tested health and wellness tradition,” said Giriraj Pai Vernekar.

The participants at expo include two US-based companies and one each from Russia and Nepal.

The expo will feature products and services of Ayush industry, nutraceuticals, hospitals, clinics, consultancy firms, research

Out sourcing centres, production outsourcing companies, resorts and spas, cosmetic manufacturers, educational institutions, Ayush Mission state units, NGOs, foreign institutions, R&D centres and book publishers.

Side by side the traditional products, healthcare delivery services that leverage cutting-edge technologies are also on the display. These include products from clinic management software companies, pharma machinery manufacturers, services from Ayurveda startups and online services.

There will be enclosures featuring Indian herbs and natural remedies, three leading Ayurveda plus veterinary medicine companies and six Siddha companies.
