Seminar on EPF wage ceiling held at Govt Cyberpark

Kozhikode, September 25: A special awareness seminar for employees on the increase in the monthly wage ceiling under the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) scheme to ₹25000 was held at Government Cyberpark here.

The seminar, held at the Sahya Conference Hall at Cyberpark, explained the recent amendment introduced by the Central government, its practical aspects and the procedures for bringing new employees under the scheme.

Enforcement Officers of the EPF Regional Office, Kozhikode, Sri. Chandrabhanu V.V. and Sri. Surendran K. led the session and addressed the queries raised by the participants.

HR representatives and employees from various companies at Cyberpark attended the seminar. Cyberpark officials said that greater awareness of changes in labour laws would help strengthen legal awareness and contribute to a better work environment in the IT sector.
