Zafin RISE 2026 community run held at Technopark

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 16: Highlighting that responsible innovation can contribute to healthier people and stronger communities, around 1000 participants from the tech community took part in the second edition of Zafin RISE, the flagship wellness and community run conducted by Technopark-based Zafin, here today. 

An AI platform company for regulated institutions, Zafin conducted the event with the theme “AI for Good: Powering a Healthier Future.”

Smt. Anu Kumari IAS, District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram, flagged off Zafin RISE 2026 at Technopark Phase III.

Smt. Anu Kumari IAS; Shri Arun Vijayan IAS, Director, Commerce & Industries and Managing Director, KSIDC; and Smt Jeeva Maria Joy, IFS, gave away the prizes to the winners of various categories of the race.

Shri Sandip Kumar IAS, CEO Technopark, Shri Simon Kalechstein, Chief Customer Officer, Zafin and Ms Suja Chandy, Chief Sustainability Officer (Global) & Managing Director, Zafin India were also present.

The event featured three categories—10 km Endurance Run, 5 km Challenge Run and 2 km Family Fun Run—welcoming everyone from seasoned runners and fitness enthusiasts to professionals, students, families, children and beginners.

Zafin RISE 2026 brought together technology, wellness and community, while spotlighting how responsible innovation can contribute to healthier people and stronger communities.
