Milma’s TRCMPU gives out Rs. 3.66 Cr as Onam incentive to dairy farmers, societies

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 17: Milma’s Thiruvananthapuram Regional Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union (TRCMPU) has dispersed Rs. 3.66 crore as Onam incentive to farmers and milk cooperative societies.

Farmers affiliated to milk societies under TRCMPU in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta and Alappuzha districts benefitted from the decision.

Milk societies have been provided additional incentive of Rs. 5 on each litre of milk procured in July 2026. Of this, Rs. 3 went to the farmers, Rs. 1 for the milk societies and Rs. 1 has been deposited as additional share of the societies, according to TRCMPU Administrator Smt. Sinila Unnikrishnan.

The incentive was given to the societies along with the first milk bill of August 2026.
