9th Metro MSME Conclave and Awards Held in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram, , July 30 : The 9th Metro MSME Conclave and Awards, organized by Metro Mart in association with the Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), was held in Thiruvananthapuram.

The function was presided over by Sri V. Muraleedharan, MLA, while Sri C. P. John, Minister for Transport, Government of Kerala, inaugurated the conclave.

In his inaugural address, Minister C. P. John said that Kerala can achieve an industrial revolution only through the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). He emphasized that MSME entrepreneurs should focus on high-quality packaging, strong branding, global market-oriented marketing strategies, and the production of quality-assured products to enhance their competitiveness.

The event was attended by Sri T. Siddique, Minister for Agriculture, Sri V. V. Rajesh, Mayor of Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, Mr. Siji Nair, Managing Director, Metro Mart, Mr. A. Nizarudheen, State President, Kerala State Small Industries Association (KSSIA), Mr. K. P. Ramachandran Nair, Chairman, India International Industrial Expo, Mr. S. N. Raghuchandran Nair, President, Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Abraham Thomas, Secretary, TCCI, and Mr. M. R. Narayanan, President, South Kerala Hoteliers Forum (SKHF), among other dignitaries.

Mr. Anil K. Antony delivered a special address on the theme "Advantage India," highlighting the country's emerging opportunities for entrepreneurs and industries.
