Milma Ernakulam Regional Union announces Rs 3 per litre incentive for dairy farmers

Kochi, July 30: Milma Ernakulam Regional Union will provide an incentive of Rs 3 per litre to dairy farmers supplying milk through more than 1,000 primary milk cooperative societies under its operational areas in Thrissur, Ernakulam, Kottayam and Idukki districts.

The incentive will be provided in connection with the Independence Day and Onam celebrations, and will be applicable to milk supplied to the Union from August 11 to August 31, 2026, commencing with the Independence Day week.

“The incentive will be disbursed based on the quantity of milk supplied to the Union,” Mr C.N. Valsalan Pillai, Chairman of the Milma Ernakulam Regional Union, said.
