Goethe-Zentrum to screen Der Sommer des Falken on July 22, 6.30 pm

Thiruvananthapuram, July 21: In a rare treat to film buffs in the city, the German classic Der Sommer des Falken will be screened at the German language and culture centre Goethe-Zentrum at Jawahar Nagar here at 6.30 pm on July 22.

The screening is arranged in association with Banner Film Society.

Set against the backdrop of majestic mountains, the film directed by Arend Agthe, follows a thrilling journey filled with friendship, adventure and the search for a mysterious amulet.

The story follows a mountain girl, Marie, who teams up with a city boy on vacation to protect a falcon and its nest from an eccentric pigeon breeder.

The globally-appreciated movie brings together the excitement of exploration and the magic of storytelling, taking the viewers through a world of mystery, discovery, and breathtaking landscapes.

Entry to the screening is free for public.
