Artists, cultural outfits invited to apply for performing in Onam Tourism Week fest

Thiruvananthapuram, July 04: Applications are now open for artists and cultural organisations interested in participating in this year’s Onam Tourism Week celebrations to be held from August 24 to 30 in the state capital and across the district, organised by the State Department of Tourism.

Applications must reach either by post or in person before 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 12, at the following address:

The top of the application envelope must be superscribed with: ‘Onam Tourism Week Celebrations 2026’.

The celebrations will feature classical, folk, and ethnic art forms, food and trade fairs.

The inauguration of the week-long celebrations will be held on August 24 at the Nishagandhi Auditorium, Kanakakkunnu, Thiruvananthapuram.

The celebrations will conclude with a grand pageantry (Ghoshayathra) in the city on August 30.

The Onam Tourism Week celebrations are being organised in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, District Administration, and the District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC).
