Fifa WC 2026: Goethe-Zentrum to screen matches live on big screen

Thiruvananthapuram, June 12: Joining the FIFA World Cup fever across the globe, German language and culture centre Goethe-Zentrum will be screening selected matches live on big screen during the entire span of world’s greatest sporting event.

The matches, played out in the US, Mexico and Canada, will be screened at the amphitheatre of Goethe-Zentrum in Jawahar Nagar here.

In the pre-quarter stage, all matches featuring Germany will be screened. From quarter finals on all matches will be screened.

All matches scheduled at 9.30 pm and 10.30 pm will also be screened. As this edition of World Cup is jointly hosted by USA, Mexico and Canada, the Indian timings of the matches range between 9.30 pm and 9.30 am.

Entry to the screening is free for public.
