Kerala startup featured in Forbes list; Fuselage Innovations founder Devan Chandrasekharan named in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list

Kochi, June 02: Fuselage Innovations, a drone technology startup incubated at Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), has gained international recognition with its co-founder and Managing Director Devan Chandrasekharan featuring in the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2026 list.

Mr Chandrasekharan, an aerospace engineer, was selected in the Industry, Manufacturing and Energy category for his contributions to indigenous technology development and innovation.

Founded in 2020, the Ernakulam-based startup develops advanced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and autonomous technologies for applications in agriculture, industry, disaster management, defence and surveillance. Its precision agriculture solutions, drone-based pesticide spraying services and aerial intelligence platforms are being widely used by farmers across the country.

Fuselage Innovations has received several national and state-level honours, including the Government of India's National Startup Award (Aspire).

“The Forbes recognition marks a significant milestone for the company, reflecting the collective efforts of the Fuselage team. It will further strengthen our vision of building globally competitive deep-tech and aerospace solutions from India,” Mr Chandrasekharan said.

KSUM CEO Anoop Ambika said the recognition is a matter of great pride for Kerala’s startup ecosystem and reflects the capability of young entrepreneurs in the state to develop pioneering technologies with global impact.

Among the company’s flagship products is the FIA QD10 drone, capable of carrying payloads of up to 10 kg and used for agricultural operations, seed sowing and wildfire management.

Fuselage has also developed Nireeksh AG, an aerial intelligence platform for crop monitoring, and LARS (Load Assisted Rotary Stabilization System), a technology designed to safely handle heavy loads in ships and industrial facilities.

The company is also engaged in the design and development of mission-specific drones for defence sectors.

In addition to research and manufacturing, Fuselage operates an authorised Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO), providing professional drone pilot training.

The company is currently expanding its operations in international markets, including Canada.
