Milma Ernakulam Regional Union to Offer Rs 2 Extra per Litre of Milk in May

Kochi, May 11: Milma Ernakulam Regional Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union has announced an additional incentive of Rs two per litre for milk procured through affiliated dairy co-operative societies during May.
The incentive will be applicable for milk supplied from May 11 to May 31.

Union Chairman C.N. Valsalan Pillai said the decision was taken at the meeting of the governing body.

The benefit will be extended to dairy farmers and primary milk co-operative societies functioning under the union across Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kottayam and Idukki districts.

More than 1,000 primary dairy societies are expected to benefit from the additional procurement price initiative.
