Milma posts turnover of Rs 4,624 cr in FY 2025-26
Growth of 6.44 pc compared to last year

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 06: Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (KCMMF), known by its brand Milma, clocked an impressive annual turnover of Rs 4,624.21 crore in the financial year 2025-26, registering a growth of 6.44 percent compared to the previous year’s figures of Rs 4,344.60 crore.
In daily milk procurement, Milma registered 12.89 percent growth while in sale of milk, it posted 4.30 percent growth in 2025-26. The total per day milk procurement stood at 12,56,892 litres and total sale of milk per day pegged at 17,06,350 litres during this period.
In 2024-25, the daily procurement of milk and its daily sales were 11,13,413 litres and 16,36,047 litres, respectively.
Milma’s value-added product sales turnover stood at Rs 1,097.36 crore in 2025-26 with an annual growth of 15.94 percent as compared to the previous year’s figures of Rs 946.47 crore.
The Trivandrum Regional Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union (TRCMPU) of Milma registered 6.87 percent growth in annual turnover compared to 2024-25. The growth turnover rate of the Malabar Regional Co-operative Milk Producers' Union (MRCMPU) stood at 8.88 percent whereas the Ernakulam Regional Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union (ERCMPU) recorded 5.91 percent growth.
In daily milk procurement, MRCMPU’s procured 6,83.503 litres followed by ERCMPU (2,93,351 litres) and TRCMPU (2,80.039 litres). In 2024-25, the daily milk procurement of each regional union was 6,15,535 litres, 2,51,257 litres and 2,46,620 litres, respectively.
In per day sale of milk, the figures were MRCMPU (6,83,117 litres), TRCMPU (5,73,645 litres) and ERCMPU (4,49,589 litres).
The growth in product sales turnover of TRCMPU was 18 percent in 2025-26, followed by MRCMPU (16.50 percent), and ERCMPU (13.75 percent).
Milma Chairman Shri KS Mani said Milma is implementing many of its activities with the aim of achieving the turnover of Rs 10,000 crore by 2030.
“In 2025-26, Milma has recorded significant progress through farmer-centric welfare schemes, production and quality improvement activities. Despite the rising production cost in dairy sector, various challenges and competitions, Milma’s achievement was buttressed by the dairy farmers,” he observed.
Noting that self-sufficiency of dairy sector is another major focus, Shri Mani added that the dairy sector is aiming to achieve an inclusive and sustainable growth in the state. Last year, Milma provided 92.5 percent of its profit to farmers.
