District Collector Ms Anu Kumari joins IT employees’ Women’s Day rally

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar. 12: Thiruvananthapuram District Collector Ms Anu Kumari, IAS, joined more than 500 women IT employees and their families in the night walk programme organised by Prathidhwani, the cultural and welfare organisation of Technopark employees, as part of International Women’s Day.
The participants at the rally, named ‘She Owns the Night,’ flashed placards highlighting gender equality and women empowerment. The event was organised in association with the District Women and Child Development Department.
Shri Kadakampally Surendran, MLA, along with Ms Anu Kumari flagged off the rally at Kazhakoottam A J Hospital, and concluded at Amphitheatre at Technopark Campus-1.
Riders Vishnuja and Malavika led the rally on Enfield motorcycles.
Prathidhwani Women's Forum Convener Srini Doni, Women's Forum Executive Members Prashanthi P. S., Sujitha S, Binu, Jisha, Indu, Shinsi, Anju David, Aswathi, Akhila, Tasneem P. S. (District Women and Child Development Officer), Kavitha (ICDS Programme Officer), and Neetu S. Sainu (District Mission Coordinator, SANKALP) attended the rally.
The rally was followed by exciting celebrations and a DJ night event at the Technopark Amphitheatre.
