IOCOD inaugurates Kozhikode Govt. Cyberpark office, signalling confidence in regional tech leadership

Kozhikode / February 9, 2026

Kozhikode, Feb 9: IOCOD, a fast-growing technology company with deep roots in Kozhikode, formally inaugurated its new spacious and bigger office at Govt. Cyberpark, marking a significant moment both for the company’s growth trajectory and for North Kerala’s expanding technology ecosystem. The inauguration ceremony was led by Adam Schwartz, Chief Executive Officer of the Easify App, with Paul Boxer, Chief Operating Officer of Merchant Market Place (MMP), attending as the chief guest.

The opening of the Cyberpark office is being positioned by the company as more than a routine expansion. It reflects a deliberate strategic commitment to decentralised growth, regional talent development, and the creation of high-value technology jobs beyond India’s traditional metropolitan centres. As India’s technology sector increasingly reassesses the sustainability of metro-centric concentration, IOCOD’s move underscores a broader shift towards nurturing globally competitive innovation hubs in tier-two cities.

Founded in 2020 at Cyberpark with a focus on fintech-related products, advanced software development, and digital transformation solutions, IOCOD has steadily built a reputation for delivering scalable, enterprise-grade technology for clients in India and overseas. From its early days in Kozhikode, the company has pursued a model that combines technical depth with contextual understanding of emerging markets, allowing it to compete in a crowded and fast-evolving digital economy.

The new Kozhikode office is expected to play a central role in IOCOD’s next phase of growth. Teams based at Cyberpark will work across a range of future-facing domains, including communications platforms, AI-led systems, SaaS products, automation frameworks, and complex digital infrastructure for enterprise clients. Company leaders indicated that the facility has been designed not merely as a workspace, but as a collaborative environment capable of supporting research-driven development and long-term product innovation.

IOCOD Founder and CEO Fasil KK said the decision to expand operations at Cyberpark Kozhikode was guided by both opportunity and intent. North Kerala, he noted, offers a deep pool of engineering and digital talent, much of which has historically migrated to larger cities in search of professional opportunities. By establishing a strong operational base in Calicut, IOCOD aims to reverse that long-standing flow, offering meaningful, globally relevant technology careers closer to home.

Fasil also stressed that retaining talent within the region has broader social and economic implications. When skilled professionals are able to build careers locally, it contributes to stronger communities, more resilient local economies, and a more balanced national development narrative. He described the Cyberpark office as a long-term investment, not just in infrastructure, but in people and ideas.

Director and COO Fasna KK noted that the new office strengthens IOCOD’s operational foundation and people-focused culture, collaboration, and sustainable growth as the company scales.

Cyberpark officials welcomed IOCOD’s expansion, describing it as a strong validation of Kozhikode’s growing stature as an emerging technology hub.
