Government Cyberpark Organizes Menstrual Wellness Session for IT Employees

Kozhikode, January 28: The 'Menstrual Wellness Session' jointly organized by Government Cyberpark and FemiSafe startup stood out with the active participation of IT professionals from various companies within the park. The program, held at the Sahya Auditorium, was organized with the primary goal of raising awareness about health care during menstruation and fostering sustainable hygiene habits among the workforce.

The session was led by Noureen Aysha, Co-founder of FemiSafe, who shared valuable insights into sustainable menstrual health. In addition to discussing menstrual hygiene and eco-friendly practices, she provided a simplified and clear explanation regarding the correct usage of menstrual cups. A significant highlight of the event was the period cramp simulator, which allowed to male participants to gain a firsthand understanding of the physical challenges associated with menstruation, making it a unique and impactful experience.

As part of the initiative to promote sustainable health habits in the workplace, 200 women participants were distributed FemiSafe menstrual cups free of cost. Ms. Anusree, Manager – HR & Marketing at Cyberpark, expressed her appreciation to FemiSafe for organizing such an empowering program for women in the IT sector. She emphasized that creating safe spaces for health awareness and open dialogue is essential for professional environments. This initiative is a part of Cyberpark’s continuous efforts to ensure the welfare of women and to foster an inclusive workplace culture.
