Minister P Rajeeve to inaugurate Petrochemical Conclave on Monday

Meet to highlight investment potential in state’s petrochem sector

Kochi, Jan 03:  Minister for Industries, Law and Coir,Shri P Rajeeve will inaugurate a conclave on ‘Petrochemical and Allied Sectors’ on Monday (January 5) at Hotel Lulu Marriott, Edappally.

The Kerala Petrochemical Conclave will bring together key industry stakeholders to explore investment opportunities in Kerala’s petrochemical sector.

The meet is organised by the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Limited (KSIDC), in association with KINFRA (Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation) and BPCL (Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited), under the aegis of the Department of Industries, Government of Kerala.

The conclave will highlight the State’s progressive policies, investor-friendly initiatives and the infrastructure advantages of the Petrochemical Park, besides focusing on downstream and allied segments.

Shri Sreeram A N, Executive Director (BPREP) and Head - Petrochemical Association, will deliver the keynote address at the event.

Shri A P M Mohammed Hanish IAS, Addl. Chief Secretary, Industries & Commerce, will make a Presentation on ‘Petrochemical environ in the State and way forward’.

Dr. K. A. Rajesh, Director & Head, Institute of Petrochemicals Technology (IPT); Shri. Atul Khanwalkar, Head (Petchem Task force), BPCL; Shri Santhosh Koshy Thomas, MD, KINFRA and Shri Varghese Malakaran, General Manager, KSIDC will speak at the event.

Shri Vishnuraj P IAS, Managing Director, KSIDC & Director DIC, will deliver the welcome address at the event while Ms. Anie Jula Thomas IAS, OSD – Department of Industries will propose a vote of thanks.
