Technopark cricket tourney to begin on Jan. 17

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 28: Registration has begun for the country’s largest cricket tournament in the IT sector, the Technopark Premier League (TPL), which is set to start on January 17, 2026, at Technopark.

TPL 2026 is organised by Prathidhwani, the welfare and recreation forum of IT employees at Technopark. 

More than 200 teams will participate in the six-month TPL T20 cricket tournament, with over 375 matches, to be held at Technopark Ground. Prathidhwani is organising TPL 2026 in association with Favourite Homes.

QBurst was the winner in the men’s category of the last edition of TPL, while Infosys lifted the women’s trophy.

Since its first edition in 2001, TPL has become the country's largest IT-sector sporting event due to the overwhelming participation of teams from IT companies in Technopark, India’s first IT Park.
