Kirloskar champions India’s artistic dialogue as title sponsor of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale “Let’s Talk” Programme

Kochi, December 20, 2025: Kirloskar Group, one of India’s oldest engineering conglomerates, has announced its association with the Kochi Biennale Foundation as the Main Sponsor of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale’s “Let’s Talk” programme. Recognised as South Asia’s largest and most influential international exhibition of contemporary art, the Biennale hosts its “Let’s Talk” platform as a critical space for discourse and dialogue. Kirloskar Group’s sponsorship will extend over six years, underscoring its long-term commitment to foster creativity, cultural exchange, and a vibrant artistic ecosystem.

The Kirloskar Group seeks to strengthen artistic expression and expand opportunities for artists across diverse communities. Its support for the “Let’s Talk” programme, a series of talks, seminars and panel discussions, that will help enable richer conversations and debates on contemporary art, social themes and cultural politics by expanding participation and deepening community engagement.

The Kochi-Muziris Biennale since its inception in 2012, has grown into South Asia’s largest and most influential international exhibition of contemporary art. Widely recognised as a transformative platform, the Biennale brings together global artistic experimentation, intellectual inquiry and broad public participation, while celebrating Kochi’s rich multicultural, multiethnic and multireligious heritage. It provides space for artists from around the world to engage in meaningful interactions and explore important contemporary themes through diverse art forms, including painting, sculpture, installation, new media, photography, printmaking, video, sound, and augmented and virtual reality.

The sixth biennale opened on December 12, 2025 with exhibitions spread across heritage properties and warehouses, galleries and public spaces in Fort Kochi, Mattancherry, and Ernakulam. The “Let’s talk” series of talks will run until March 31, 2025 featuring exhibitions across 29 venues in Fort Kochi, Mattancherry, Willingdon Island and Ernakulam.
