Kochi-based startup Digital Worker Services launches AI tool to create autonomous digital co-workers
‘klapp’ marks a breakthrough in transforming human- visible on‑screen tasks into automated workflow

Kochi, Dec 17: Kochi-based startup Digital Worker Services has launched the world's first AI co-worker generation desktop tool, named as ‘klapp’, for memmoo BPO platform, marking a breakthrough in transforming human-visible on-screen tasks into automated workflow.
Klapp observes and learns the user's work and pointers on the screen. Just as a co-worker, it trains the user as if guiding a fresh colleague on how to do the work on hand.
With the memmoo cloud BPO platform, the user can deploy any number of co-workers with a single click, creating a highly efficient workplace.
It captures tasks like opening files, placing markers and creating portable workflows with screenshots, and executing them using computer vision and OCR.
With a no-code experience, users can automate similar files easily using features like smart overlays and adaptive delays.
"klapp is not just another automation tool; it’s a movement," said Digital Worker Services’ co-founder and CEO Aromal Jayaraj Shikky, emphasising its role in democratising AI to help users transform repetitive tasks into efficient workflows for more creative problem-solving.
“We envision a future of work where all system-based tasks will be managed by digital co-workers, and real human work will be driven by natural conversations, empathy, new ideas, original thought, and meaningful relationships,” said.
Shikky has led award-winning projects and secured Microsoft funding for this core AI product vision. The startup has received private equity investment, achieving a valuation of USD 2.5 million (around Rs 20 crore) for product development.
Partnership discussions are also on to rapidly expand the startup’s customer base in India, the US, and Europe, targeting over USD 1 million as monthly recurring revenue (about Rs 9 crore) within the next nine months.
"In launching klapp, our vision is clear: whatever a human can see and act upon on a computer screen can be captured as a workflow and automated," added Jaijo James John, co‑founder & director.
"klapp has translated this vision into a reality with elegant recording, intelligent mapping, and robust execution, all with a local installation and without any large language models, but rather with true AGI code," he added.
The intelligent automation and OCR markets are rapidly growing as businesses seek cost-effective solutions for digitising workflows. Klapp meets this demand by removing the need for coding and extensive services.
Next year, Digital Worker Services will partner with organisations to implement klapp in applications like invoice capture and back-office digitisation. The group aims to be a super co-worker that autonomously manages tasks, enabling humans to focus on more complex work.
Available through the memmoo AI platform, klapp's early access programmes for partners and pilot customers are starting now. Memmoo enhances productivity with autonomous digital co-workers, and klapp automates on-screen tasks without coding.
