Kochi, Dec 19: Actor Gouri G Kishan described the Kochi-Muziris Biennale as a remarkable and vital art event.
After visiting the Aspinwall venue, she said that platforms like the Biennale play a crucial role in nurturing and supporting new and emerging artists by giving them visibility alongside established practitioners.
Emphasising the significance of the current edition, Gauri noted that this year’s Biennale is especially important under the leadership of Dr V. Venu, whose stewardship has brought renewed vision and direction to the event. She added that the Biennale continues to strengthen India’s contemporary art ecosystem while placing Kochi firmly on the global cultural map.
