Since then, it has grown into a major milk marketing federation of India with 3046 primary dairy cooperative societies, organised under its three regional unions --- Malabar, Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram --and 1.06 million dairy farmers.

With its strong and inevitable presence in the market, Milma has transformed into a prominent cooperative organisation in having an annual turnover of around Rs 4327 crore. It procurers around 1.25 million litre of milk and sells around 1.65 million litre of milk per day, besides it also brings to market an assortment of value-added products.
