Cheruvannur Community Hall to get a facelift

Kozhikode, Nov 06: The Department of Tourism has allocated Rs 2,50,00,000 for the renovation of the Cheruvannur Community Hall in Kozhikode, as part of the state government’s efforts to enhance local community infrastructure.

Tourism and Public Works Minister PA Mohamed Riyas said the project was part of a series of initiatives of the state government to create excellent public spaces.

"This renovation will transform the Cheruvannur Community Hall into an ideal venue for community gatherings, cultural programs, and events," Shri Riyas said.

To manage the project's finances, an escrow account will be established in the names of both the Director of Tourism and the Kozhikode Municipal Corporation. Funds from this account will be allocated strictly for the ongoing maintenance of the newly developed assets.
