Alappuzha, Sept. 03: Minister for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Smt J Chinchurani inaugurated the newly-built P&I headquarters of Milma’s Thiruvananthapuram Regional Cooperative Milk Producers Union (TRCMPU-Milma) at Mannar, here.

Speaking on the occasion, Smt Chinchurani said arrangements have been made for distributing the incentives of Rs four/litre for the milk procured from dairy farmers by cooperative societies from July 2022. The incentive will continue till March 2023.

“Besides, Milma has given Rs one/litre as Onam incentive for the milk procured in June 2022,” she said.

Smt Chinchurani said a 24-hour ambulance service with doctor and surgical facility will be made available in all block panchayats as part of enhancing veterinary care facilities.
