RGCB invites applications for PhD Biotechnology Programme

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 22: Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (BRIC-RGCB) has invited applications for admission to the PhD programme, beginning January 2026, in various domains of Biotechnology. 

Candidates with a Post-graduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks and 4-year Bachelor’s degree having a minimum of 75% marks or equivalent in the UGC 10-point scale.in Life/Agricultural/Environmental/Veterinary/ Pharmaceutical/ Medical Sciences or allied subjects can apply.

The aspirants should also have a valid JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) of UGC/CSIR/ ICMR/DBT/DST-INSPIRE fellowship for a period of five years offered by the government. 

The upper age limit is 26 years. The age limit will be relaxed for SC/ST candidates and those with disabilities.

The last date for submitting online applications is November 14, 2025.
