KSUM-backed startup launches India’s first AI filmmaking course

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 16:  Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) backed startup Pixel Pupa has launched India’s first AI filmmaking course.

The three-month hybrid program that combines technology and creativity will be conducted by the School of Storytelling set up by Pixel Pupa.

Film star and MP Shri Kamal Haasan inaugurated the School of Storytelling and launched its portal sostorytelling.com in Kochi.

Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan extended his wishes for the venture, terming it as   an initiative that reflects Kerala’s social and technological advancements.

The Kochi-based film school will provide hybrid model AI integrated filmmaking courses under the guidance of prominent AI industry trainer and Gen AI storyteller Shri Varun Ramesh.

The film school has onboarded a team of excellent technicians and filmmakers from South India and AI experts.

Other than online classes and live workshops, School of Storytelling provides AI creative workshops held by lead content creators and technicians from Malayalam film industry.

Apart from filmmaking course, the school also offers courses in AI photography, AI cinematography, AI VFX, AI animation etc.
