Entries invited for Prathidhwani Qisa Film Fest 2025

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 06: Prathidhwani, the welfare and recreation forum of IT employees at Technopark, has invited entries for the 14th edition of Prathidhwani Qisa Film Festival (PQFF 2025) from IT employees across the state.
The short film festival will showcase the creative talents of IT employees from Technopark, Infopark, and Cyber Park. The short films should be between 3 and 45 minutes long. Selected films will be screened at the Travancore Hall of Technopark here.
The last date for submitting the entries is November 15.
The Best Short Film will receive a cash prize of Rs 20,000 and a memento, while the Second-Best Film will receive Rs 10,000 and a memento. The Best Script and Best Director will receive Rs 10,000 each and mementoes. Special awards will be given in the Best Actor, Actress, Cinematographer, and Editor categories.

So far, PQFF has premiered around 650 short films by techies. The winners received awards from personalities like Shri Shaji N Karun (2012), Shri Vineeth Srinivasan (2013), Shri Adoor Gopalakrishnan (2014), Shri Shyamaprasad (2015), Shri Jayaraj (2016), Shri. Dileesh Pothen (2017), Shri Amal Neerad (2018), Shri Khalid Rahman (2019), Shri Vidhu Vincent (2020), Shri Jeo Baby (2021), Shri MF Thomas (2022), Shri TK Rajeev Kumar(2023) and Soorya Krishnamoorthy (2024) in previous years.
Noted film critic Shri MF Thomas was the jury chairperson for the first nine years, and Mr Krishnendhu Kalesh, Ms Deepika Susheelan, Prof Aliyar and Ms Sajitha Madathil were the jury chairpersons in the subsequent years.
