IT professionals of Kozhikode select new office-bearers of CafIT

Kozhikode, Sept 21: Calicut Forum for Information Technology (CafIT), a non-profit organisation of IT professionals to bring the companies in the city under a single umbrella, has selected new office-bearers for 2025–2027 with Rifath Rahman as President and Prajeesh K. K. as Secretary.
There are 18 members in the administrative team including core committee members. Of this 10 are from the companies functioning at Government Cyberpark.
The CAFIT Core Committee also selected Kalathil Karthik as Vice President, Mujthaba (Joint Secretary), Nidhin (Treasurer), and Shiyas Muhammed (Joint Treasurer).
The new Core Committee members are Abdul Gafoor K. V., Anand R. Krishnan, Akhil Krishna, Vijitha T., Fasna K. K., Abdul Majeed P., Ajay M. A., Aslam Bughari, Muhammed Niyas C., Arjun, and Amjad Ali E. M.
Mr Vivek Nair, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Kozhikode Government Cyberpark, congratulated the newly elected president and other members of CafIT and also lauded the contribution of the past president and core members.
“We look forward to working together for the betterment of IT ecosystem in the city,” he said.
The members of CafIT consist of established software houses from Kozhikode and the Malabar region, Kinfra IT Park, Technology Business Incubator (NITC), Govt. Cyberpark, and UL Cyberpark.
A major objective of CafIT is to promote Kozhikode as a viable destination for IT and IT Enabled Services (ITES).
