Work on RCC Nutrafill to begin at Angamaly on Sept. 14

Kochi, Sept. 12: The foundation stone for RCC Nutrafill Private Limited’s state-of-the-art Food Processing and Life Sciences manufacturing facility will be laid on September 14.

Minister for Industries, Law and Coir, Shri P Rajeeve, will inaugurate the function to mark the groundbreaking ceremony of the landmark project that comes up at Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) Business Park, Angamaly, near here.

Dr Krishna Ella, Chairman and MD of Bharat Biotech, will also be present on the occasion. Senior officials of the state government and RCC Nutrafill will also attend.  

The project will feature a food processing and life sciences manufacturing facility with advanced cold storage, warehousing, research, development, and logistics infrastructure.

It strengthens Kerala’s position in the life sciences and food processing ecosystem, creating opportunities in manufacturing, R&D, and high-value employment for young scientists and technicians. Products developed here will support critical sectors including pharmaceuticals, vaccine manufacturing, food safety, agro-processing, and medical technology.

The facility represents Kerala’s commitment to nurturing advanced industries that combine technology, safety, and sustainability. It will not only serve the growing demands of life sciences but also strengthen the state’s role as a hub for innovation in the agro and food processing sectors.

The project is being developed with the support of the Government of Kerala and KSIDC, marking a significant milestone for the state’s industrial growth and its vision to attract investment in high-tech and globally relevant industries.
