Pioneering Kerala Innovation Festival to begin on Friday

Kochi, July 24: Blazing a new trail in India’s technological revolution, the first-ever Kerala Innovation Festival (KIF 2025) will begin on Friday (July 25), bringing in around 10,000 people, including entrepreneurs, investors, students, policymakers and creative talents.

Organized by the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), the two-day event in suburban Kalamassery will showcase the nodal agency’s work in creating a vibrant ecosystem over the past ten years.

Industries Minister Shri P Rajeeve will be the chief guest at the concluding session of the KIF on Saturday, which is to be held at the KSUM’s Innovation Hub.

The July 25-26 event will feature more than 100 product exhibitions, cutting-edge technology demonstrations and working models from various sectors, besides summits such as She Leads, Sustainable Development and Gen AI for All.

There will also be an Experience Centre, Product Showcases, Fab & Maker Expo, Food Fest, Music Festival, Sustainable Flea Market, and a Mega Innovation Tour. More than 100 prominent figures from diverse fields, including film, music, technology, fintech and social enterprises, will share their insights.

Startup India Head Mamatha Venkatesh will inaugurate the function on July 25 . State Planning Board member Mini Sukumaran will deliver the keynote address. District Collector NSK Umesh and KSUM CEO Anoop Ambika will attend.

Speaking in the various sessions at the event will be IT Special Secretary S Sambasiva Rao, Infosys Co-Founder and CII-CIES Chairman Kris Gopalakrishnan, actor-producer Nivin Pauly, actor-director Dhyan Sreenivasan, actress Nikhila Vimal, producer Sophia Paul, Is My Trip CEO Rikanth Pittee, Brahmins Food India MD Srikanth Vishnu, Matrimony.com Founder Murugavel Janakiraman and VKC Corporate House MD VKC Razak, besides others.

KIF aims to further ignite the imaginative capacities of nascent companies and highlight KSUM’s journey that has transformed the state from a budding ecosystem into a globally recognized model of inclusive and impact-driven innovation.
