Milma condoles passing away of VS Achuthanandan

Thiruvananthapuram, July 21: Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (KCMMF), Milma, today expressed profound grief at the passing away of former chief minister and veteran CPI (M) leader V S Achuthanandan.
The late leader was a great supporter of Milma, which always stood for the wellbeing of farmers, Milma Chairman Shri K S Mani said in his condolence message.
Achuthanandan leaves an indelible mark in the history of Kerala as a mass leader whose life was marked by relentless struggles for upholding the rights of the working class and the inclusive progress of the state, Shri K S Mani said.
One of Kerala’s most popular leaders with an unblemished record in public life, Achuthanandan made effective interventions for the growth of farm sector and rural economy as chief minister, opposition leader and legislator of multiple terms.
“Milma, its regional unions, employees and their family members join the grief of the entire state and members of the bereaved family,” Shri Mani added.
