Infopark Thrissur celebrates International Yoga Day

Thrissur, June 24: Infopark Thrissur Techies Club celebrated International Yoga Day, as the organisation of IT employees at the Koratty campus practised the practices of Isha Foundation as per the guidelines of the Union Ministry of AYUSH.
The session featured yoga exercises for various parts of the body, besides allied meditation techniques for inner mental well-being. The employees were trained to adopt postures such as Yoga Namaskar and Simha Kriya besides meditation to reduce mental stress.
The Techies Club office-bearers announced a plan to set up a permanent system for yoga training. This will depend on the interest of the employees, according to Jose Anto, Jomy Johnson, Kiran K.R. and Mahesh Kumar V.K.
