Milma’s TRCMPU presents study kits to beginners of 15 govt schools in district

Alappuzha, June 02: The ‘praveshanolsvam’ turned out to be a pleasant surprise for the beginners of Government LP Schools at Keerikkad today as they were welcomed to the world of learning with study kits sponsored by Milma’s Thiruvananthapuram Regional Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union (TRCMPU), along with an assortment of sweets from Milma.
Keerikkad Govt LP School was one of the 15 schools in the district where TRCMPU is providing study kits comprising school bags, raincoats, note books, pencil boxes and Milma sweets.
TRCMPU Chairman Smt Mani Vishwanath distributed the study kits while inaugurating the district level ‘preveshanolsavam’ at Keerikkad Govt LP School. Smt L Usha, President of Pathiyoor Grama Panchayath, was the chief guest at the function.
TRCMPU board members Shri Ayaparambu Ramachandran and Shri. T K Prathula Chandran distributed the study kits to children of other Government LP schools in the district as part of the ‘preveshanolsavam’.
Alappuzha District Panchayath Member KG Santhosh, School Management Committee (SMC) Chairman Shri Prakash Panakkaran, Ms Anitha Rajendran, Chairperson of the Pathiyur Panchayat Education Standing Committee, Ward Member Smt Leela Gokul, Alappuzha Milma Unit Head Shri Jeevan D, Keerikkad Govt. LPS Former Headmistress Smt D. R Priya, Former SMC Chairman Shri U. Nasaruddin, SMC Vice Chairman Shri Manoj and teachers attended the function.
The reopening of schools after the summer vacation is celebrated as ‘Preveshanolsavam’ across the state.
