KSUM to hold workshop on digi fab machines for school students

Students of Class 8-12 can apply for May 12-16 workshop

Thiruvananthapuram, May 03: Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is hosting a five-day workshop on ‘Basic Introduction to Digital Fabrication Machines’ for school students at Fab Lab, here from May 12.

The workshop is planned in association with Fablab Kerala.

Participants will get hands-on experience in digital fabrication, covering essential tools, design software and digital machines including 3D printers, laser cutters, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) routers, Printed Circuit Board Milling (PCB) and screen printing at the workshop, which is open to 15 participants from Class 8 to 12.

The fee for each student for the May 12-16 workshop is Rs 2,500. KSUM and Fablab Kerala certification will be provided to all participants, who will have to come with laptop and required accessories. The timing of the workshop on each day will be 10 am to 5 pm.
