Kerala is ideal for ease of doing business and ease of life - P Rajeeve

Kochi, Feb. 21: Industries, Law, and Coir Minister P Rajeeve today said Kerala is a state where one can conduct business and lead ease of life.
The minister said this while delivering the presidential address at the inaugural session of Invest Kerala Global Summit (IKGS 2025). "Kerala is ideal for ease of doing business as well as ease of life, said the minister.
He emphasised the need for united efforts by all, disregarding their political affiliations, to attract investments in the state's development and boost economic growth.
“Kerala is known as God's Own Country all over the world. We should make the state into heaven for industries as well,” Shir Rajeeve said.
He noted that Kerala was the first place in the world to declare internet access as a fundamental right of citizens. Kerala has an enviable internet penetration rate of 87 per cent and a teledensity of 124 per cent.
The state boasts a high standard of living, with one in four residents owning a car. It also has the highest number of registered electric vehicles in the country.
Kerala's industrial policy focuses on Nature, People, and Industry. In the past three years, approximately 350,000 micro, small, and medium enterprises have been established in the state.
Shri Rajeeve said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had acknowledged Kerala as a model state for MSMEs.
