Kochi, Feb 14 : Public transport technology startup Xplor under the Kerala Startup Mission has raised an investment of Rs 1.5 crore from Dubai-based investors.
As a startup that has revolutionized the public transport system in India, Xplor has its AI-powered iMAAS System (Intelligent Mobility As A Service) issuing more than five million tickets a month. More than 300 buses across the country use the company’s Ticketing software, hardware and AI services.
Xplor CEO Nived Priyadarsan said that the latest investment was a recognition to the 2023-founded company’s efforts in bringing about meaningful changes in the country’s public transport system.
“Along with raising capital, we see an opportunity to interact with the investor community, which is important,” he said. In its onward journey, Xplor is looking forward to play a leading role in the revolutionary changes taking place in the public transport sector.
The investment will be used for activities such as expansion of operations, developing modern ticketing hardware, data security, operational excellence, research and development and AI models.
