Kerala youths’ AI-based Santa app goes global

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 19: An artificial intelligence (AI) app developed by six tech savvy youths from Kerala for sending Christmas greetings and messages in the voice of Santa Claus has become a rage globally, getting its major users from the US and UK.
The app, www.santacallingai.com, was developed by Sidharth N; Richin R Chandran, CEO, Richinnovations Technologies; Muhammad Shanoob, CEO, Inventy International; Vignesh, Ui/ Ux; Ajnas N B, Developer and Dheeraj Dileep, student of Cusat.
It was Sidharth, who triggered the idea, when he met others in the group during the November 28-30 Huddle Global 2024, organized by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) at Kovalam here.
Their innovative drive led them to develop the AI app that speaks and replies in the voice of Santa Claus while sending messages and greetings to friends and children. Their concept became a reality in one week and it took off not only within Kerala but among children and adults alike globally.
The website has recorded 3,974 visitors and 9,998 page views in the last five days.
