nasscom FAYA:80 to hold seminar on VLSI design on Dec. 11

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 07: nasscom FAYA:80, a knowledge community based at Technopark, will host a seminar on semiconductor technologies at Technopark here on December 11.

 

The seminar is planned as part of FAYA: 80’s 122nd edition of the open-for-all tech seminar.

 

Dr. Subbarangaiah Kopparapu, Director & Professor at VEDA IIT, and an expert in VLSI Physical Design, will lead a session on ‘Demystifying VLSI: Unlocking India's Chip Design Opportunities.’ It will be held at FAYA “Floor of Madness”, Thejaswini Building, Technopark, here at 5 pm.

The session will explore India’s progress towards becoming a global semiconductor hub while examining the nation’s current Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) ecosystem.

The seminar will take a deep dive into VLSI technology, the challenges in it and the opportunities in India’s chip design landscape.

nasscom FAYA:80’s 121st Edition titled ‘Riding The AI Wave: A Mathematics Survival Guide’ in November discussed many insights on the mathematical foundation associated with AI models.
