Startup Hash Future wins Best Innovative School Award at World Summit

Kochi, Oct 23: Kerala-based startup Hash Future School won the Best Innovative School Award at the 20th edition of the World School Summit in Dubai, vying with contestants from 23 countries.

The online school, which incubated under the Kerala Startup Mission, was recognized for its “trailblazing AI-first approach to education”, according to the jury at the UAE event held last week.

The award was presented by renowned author Chetan Bhagat.

Hash Future Co-founder and CEO Shihabudheen Pathanayath, commenting on the school’s achievement, expressed “immense pride” in representing India on a global platform.
This award highlights Hash Future School’s dedication to making education meaningful, accessible and future-ready through innovative technologies and personalized learning experiences, he said.

As a pioneer in personalized learning, Hash Future School uses latest technological tools to provide an engaging and forward-thinking education. With a mission to nurture future leaders and innovators, It integrates AI and technology into its curriculum, giving students the skills they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

By following an AI-first curriculum in education, the school partners with innovation-seeking learning communities across the globe. 

“We have active learning communities in the Middle East, including the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman. We also have communities in Kochi and Bengaluru,” according to Pathanayath. “We have already on-boarded 130 students in our active schooling model and 100-plus students in our after school programmes such as Superkids and GenAI SuperHeroes.”

The state has the 2006-established KSUM as the nodal agency for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities.
