Minister Chinchurani launches Milma ERCMPU’s Tender Coconut Ice-cream

Thrissur, June 28: Milma Ernakulam Regional Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union (ERCMPU) today launched Tender Coconut Ice-cream as a premium-range product, retaining the unique taste and flavour of the young jelly-like flesh of Kerala’s most abundant palm-fruit.
Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister Smt J. Chinchurani released the product at the International Dairy Federation (IDF) Asia Pacific Conference in Hotel Hyatt of Bolgatty Island.
Milma ERCMPU Chairman Shri M.T. Jayan hosted the function, which was attended, among others, by Milma Chairman Shri K.S. Mani, Thiruvananthapuram Regional Co-operative Milk Producers Union Chairperson Mani Viswanadh, Milma State Federation Managing Director Shri Asif K. Yusuf, National Dairy Development Board Deputy General Manager Smt Romy Jacob and ERCMPU Managing Director Shri Wilson J. Puravakattu, besides members of Milma’s administrative board, NDDB officers and IDF representatives.
