Probationers of BIPARD, Bihar visit Technopark-Kollam

Kollam, June12: A batch of probationers of the 2nd Foundation Course of Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD) visited Technopark -Kollam as part of their training and exposure trips to get the first-hand experience of the burgeoning IT ecosystem of Kerala.

Seven batches of BIPARD are set to visit various organizations under Kerala IT in the coming weeks as part of the learning programme, which got underway with the visit of the first batch of 59 probationers to Technopark in the capital city last month.

Mrs Jayanthi R, Jr. Officer (Finance & Admin), Technopark Kollam received the BIPARD delegation.

The delegation, which got a ringside view of the functioning of Technopark- Kollam, known as the country’s first lake-side IT campus, lauded the facilities of the SEZ campus, situated beside the scenic Ashtamudi Lake at Kundara near here. 

BIPARD conducts training for Indian Administrative Services (probationers), Bihar Administrative Services (probationers), and other allied services probationers.

Technopark Kollam includes a LEED Gold-certified building named Ashtamudi, covering 1 lakh sq ft. The IT building accommodates 17 IT/ITeS companies with approximately 400 employees working on the campus.
