Governor to open Management Convention TRIMA-2022 on Friday

Two-day meet to focus on state capital development

Thiruvananthapuram, June 09: The two-day annual management convention of Trivandrum Management Association (TMA), TRIMA-2022, will begin here on Friday, focusing on the theme ‘Vision Trivandrum-2025’, with industry leaders, top managers and policy-makers sharing their insights on the development of the state capital region.

Kerala Governor Shri Arif Mohammed Khan will inaugurate the meet at Hotel ‘O by Tamara,’ at 5 pm.

On the occasion, the Governor will release “Trivandrum Vision-2025 - A Snapshot of City’s Vision Development”, a comprehensive volume on the state capital development compiled by KPMG based on inputs by experts from diverse domains including TMA members.

TMA President Shri Rajesh Jha, and TRIMA 2022 Convention Chairman Dr MI Sahadulla will also speak at the opening session.

The thematic sessions, presentations and discussions at the event will feature an impressive line-up of speakers, who will deliberate on the strategies to be adopted for the sustainable and inclusive development of the state capital.

Minister for Road Transport, Motor Vehicles and Water Transport, Shri Antony Raju; Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs and Legal Metrology, Shri G.R Anil; and Minister for General Education and Labour Shri V Sivankutty will share their views at the valedictory session of the meet.  

The key topics to be deliberated by the Convention include “Sustainable Development”, “Human Capital”,“Seamless Connectivity and World Class Infrastructure” and “Innovation and Entrepreneurship”.

Over 200 delegates, including industry leaders, decision makers, professionals, members of the business fraternity and policy makers, will participate in the two-day convention.

At the inaugural session, ISRO Chairman Shri S Somanath will be presented TMA’s Leadership Award 2022for his sterling contributions to India’s space programme and infusing a new dynamism in its futuristic projects. The Governor will also present other awards instituted by TMA at the function.

TMA is a premier management association in the country affiliated to New Delhi-based All India Management Association (AIMA).
