Milma Chairman condoles death of Prayar Gopalakrishnan

Thiruvananthapuram, June 04: Milma Chairman Shri K S Mani today expressed profound grief at the passing away of former Milma chairman and Congress leader Prayar Gopalakrishnan.

“Grieved to know about the demise of Prayar Gopalakrishnan due to cardiac arrest this evening. Besides serving as chairman of Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (KCMMF) for long, he had also made a deep impression in Kerala’s public life as a legislator and president of Travancore Devaswom Board”, Shri Mani said in a message.

A dedicated cooperator, Prayar Gopalakrishnan worked hard for the growth Milma and for the wellbeing of dairy farmers in the state during his stewardship of the KCMMF. He was also known for his clean image in public life”, Shri Mani said.

Prayar Gopalakrishnan played a significant role in the formation of KCMMF and contributed immensely to its development as one of the leading cooperative networks in the country’s dairy sector, Shri Mani said.

“Prayar Gopalakrishnan’s death is a personal loss to me as we have maintained warm friendship ever since we came to know each other. I express my personal grief as well as the KCMMF’s, its regional unions and the entire Milma family at the demise of Prayar Gopalakrishnan”, Shri Mani added.
