CM to inaugurate Sports Arena at Cyberpark on Friday

Kozhikode, Feb 22: Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate Cyber Sports Arena at Kozhikode Government Cyberpark  by video conferencing on Friday (February 23) at 4.30 pm as part of promoting IT, sports and fitness among the employees of Cyberpark.

Cyberpark has taken the initiative to establish the Sports Arena as part of reducing the stress of the employees through fitness and entertainment.

Studies have shown that engaging in sports activities will increase the productivity of employees.

The Sports Arena consists of two five's football turfs of 1017 square feet each, one 2035 sq ft seven's football turf, a basketball turf of 640 square feet and two double’s shuttle badminton courts.

Shri Ahammed Devarkovil, MLA, will preside over the function. Dr Rathan U Kelkar IAS, Secretary, Electronics and IT, Dr Beena Philip, Mayor, Dr Santhosh Babu, IAS (Retd), KSITIL, Shri Snehil Kumar Singh, IAS, District Collector, Shri Sureshkumar T, ward councillor, Adv Saruthi P, Olavanna grama panchayat president, Shri Radhakrishnan P, panchayat member, Shri Susanth Kurunthil, CEO, Cyberpark and Infopark, will participate.
