Meet to scale up partnership with West African economies in city on Feb 27

Minister Rajeeve to open the ‘Scale to West Africa’ event at Technopark

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 21: Setting the stage to scale up technology and business collaboration between the vibrant West African economies and the Indian IT and startup ecosystem, a trail-blazing conclave has been planned at Technopark here on February 27.

Shri P Rajeeve, Minister for Industries, Law, and Coir, Government of Kerala, will inaugurate the event, "Scale to West Africa’, at CDAC Auditorium of Technopark Phase 1, at 2:00 pm on the day.

An upfront initiative of Neonicz Software Solutions Private Limited supported by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), the highlight of the event will be the launch of the enhanced digital platform of the Liberian Board for Nursing and Midwifery by Smt. Veena George, Minister for Health and Woman and Child Development, Government of Kerala.

The launch of the platform, digitized with the technical support of Neonicz Software  Solutions Pvt Ltd, signifies a major leap forward in automating healthcare education and management in Liberia, showcasing the power of Indian IT prowess on the international stage.

The event will see participation of over 100 start-ups, industry leaders, and distinguished guests from across the globe, paving the way for greater synergy between Indian technological innovations with the vibrant West Africa markets.

The attendees  at the event will include Mr. Augustus J. Flomo, Former Deputy Minister of Economy of Liberia and CEO of GUSCEMAN INC, Mrs. Cecelia C. Kpangbala-Flomo, Executive Registrar of the Liberian Board for Nursing and Midwifery, Dr. Rathan U Kelkar, Secretary, Electronics & Information Technology and Environment Department, Government of Kerala, Mr. Sanjeev Nair, CEO of Technopark, Mr. Anoop Ambika, CEO of the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), and Mr. Saji Gopinath, Vice Chancellor of the Digital University Kerala.

"Scale to West Africa" is set to showcase the burgeoning opportunities in the West African market, emphasizing the synergies between Indian innovation and African economic aspirations.

Of the 100 start-ups engaging in this event, a select group of 10 start-ups will get the opportunity to pitch their products and services directly to West African delegates.

Besides highlighting the technological strides being made in healthcare through the Liberian Board for Nursing and Midwifery's digital platform, the event will also open a dialogue on the vast market opportunities awaiting Indian start-ups in West Africa.

The collaboration marks a significant milestone in the growing partnership between India and Liberia, setting a precedent for future technological and economic exchanges.
