160 Participants at KSUM Founders’ Meet at Perinthalmanna

Malappuram, Jan 4: As many as 160 participants from diverse backgrounds in the district attended a founders’ meet organised by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), underscoring the enthusiasm of aspiring entrepreneurs to learn more about the industrial ecosystem.

The event enabled the delegates to foster knowledge-sharing, networking and collaboration within the local entrepreneurial community, taking forward KSUM’s mission of facilitating exclusive gatherings of startup entrepreneurs.

The event at Ponniakurussi near Perinthalmanna was moderated by Koderfin founder Shahid K.P., after Shri Najeeb Kanthapuram, MLA, delivered an insightful presidential address. The meeting at Hyderali Shihab Thangal Academy for Civil Services facilitated interaction between early-stage startups founders and those entrepreneurs at growth stage.

Interval Co-founder Ramees Ali discussed the unique aspects of his venture and the challenges he overcame. Nez & Co Founder CEO Nezrin Midhlaj shared her entrepreneurial story and the company’s vision, while lookODU (Splendre Eye Mag Pvt. Ltd) founder COO Anil Balan shared experiences from his entrepreneurial journey.

The founders were invited on a voluntary basis to seek assistance from the supportive founder community. The event, concluded with closing remarks, was followed by a networking session that provided the attendees with a platform for informal discussions and potential collaboration opportunities.

Envisaged to promote strong networking between founders, the event also aims at enhancing the exposure, knowledge and perception of the startups in all aspects.

KSUM is Kerala government’s nodal agency established in 2006 for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the state.
