KSUM invites RFP from colleges to host IEDC Summit

Thiruvananthapuram, June 13: Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has called Request for Proposals (RFP) from higher education institutions having KSUM IEDC (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centres) to host the eighth edition of IEDC Summit, being conducted for aspiring student entrepreneurs in the state.

IEDC Summit is Asia's largest meet for aspiring student entrepreneurs and provides a networking platform for aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs to get connected with the best stakeholders in the startup ecosystem and showcase their skills.

The one-day event facilitates a platform for connecting student innovators, industry leaders, and various startups, besides providing an opportunity for them to engage and network and establish strong connections. 

Launched in 2016, IEDC Summit has brought together stakeholders from across the world from governments, academia, corporates, industries, investors, mentors and startups. The summit will provide innovation, technology, business and investment opportunities for students, enabling them to pursue their ideas and set up their own startups.

A flagship initiative of KSUM, IEDCs are platforms set up in Engineering, Management, Arts and Science Colleges, Medical Institutions, Polytechnics and Universities with an aim to provide students with an opportunity to experiment and innovate.

KSUM, the nodal agency of the Government of Kerala for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the state, has set up IEDC in 425 institutions across the State.
