Tiger attack on cows: Milma hands over solatium to farmers

Pathanamthitta, Apr. 13: Trivandrum Regional Co-operative Milk Producers Union (TRCMPU) of Milma today provided compensation to two farmers, whose cattle were killed in tiger attacks at Perunad, Ranni here.
TRCMPU Administrative Committee Convener Shri N Bhasurangan handed over the financial aid of Rs 25,000 each to Shri Abraham and Shri Reji Thomas at the Milk Cooperative Society at Nedumon. Apart from this, TRCMPU will also provide Rs. 50,000 each as interest-free revolving fund loan to help the affected dairy farmers to buy new heads of cattle.
TRCMPU Managing Director Shri D S Konda and Dairy Manager, Pathanamthitta, Dr RK Samuel also attended.
