Thiruvananthapuram, Apr. 05: The Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has invited applications for its structured monthly mentorship programme M. I. N. D (Mentor Inspired Networking on Demand) from product ready social impact startups in the state.

Social impact startups aim to create a positive social or environmental impact along with generating financial returns. They focus on addressing various social or environmental challenges such as poverty, inequality, climate change, access to education, healthcare and other basic necessities.

Unlike traditional startups, social impact startups prioritize impact over profit and use innovative business models and technologies to create sustainable solutions that benefit society. In the form of non-profits, social enterprises, or B Corps, they also contribute to achieving the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

M.I.N.D will facilitate one-on-one interaction between a startup founder and a mentor. It will provide a unique opportunity for social impact startups to leverage the knowledge and expertise of industry leaders, experienced founders and subject experts from the startup ecosystem.

The April edition of M.I.N.D will be held at UL Cyberpark, Kozhikode, on April 29 from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm. Seats are limited to 30 for this startup-mentor engagement programme.
